We are presented with the perspective of Philippe, a young man suffering from sleep paralysis. We will follow him throughout a night, allowing us to experience what he goes through every evening through his eyes. Parasomnia playfully deconstructs the conventions of fiction, both in substance and form, in order to create an experimental adventure within the uncanny valley, which, like its subject, is so close to being recognizable and yet so far away.

Simon Girard, a young director from the world of PostProduction, stands out for his willingness to explore new techniques to enhance his narratives and visuals. His journey includes directing several experimental short films and serving as a Virtual Production Chief Operator at the MELS studios. He is also the director of "Mission Ulysse," a captivating audio fiction produced by Radio-Canada OhDhio.
