Newly employed in an emergency shelter for people experiencing homelessness, Genevieve is shocked to meet again with Camille, a young woman whom she believed to have successfully reinserted while being her social worker.

About the director

Gaëlle Graton studied in Sociology and Film Production at Concordia University. She is keen to make her view of the world more complex and question the under-representation of marginalized people on screen. In 2020, she produced and directed her first fiction short film L’AUTRE RIVE (A Shore Away). As a writer-director, she is currently developing the short period drama PETTICOATS with Ugo Média. Aside from directing, she also works as a indie producer as well as a distribution coordinator at h264. As an author and poet, she also counts among her important contributions, Un peuple à genoux (2016), Libérer la colère (2018), Projet #MoiAussi (2020).
